Biography:

SKY PARADE

SKY PARADE

"L.A. popgazers Sky Parade have found psych-rock’s sweet spot on their new single, “I Should Be Coming Up (But I Keep Coming Down),” a three-minute fantasy-vs.-reality lament that pits an urgent rhythmic churn against giddy washes of synths. The song, produced by Courtney Taylor-Taylor of the Dandy Warhols and featuring the Dandys’ Zia McCabe on keyboards, is the first off Sky Parade’s forthcoming third full-length, “Intoxicated.” The album features appearances by McCabe, Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses) and Jeff Schroeder (Smashing Pumpkins, the Lassie Foundation)".

--BuzzBands L.A.

"Darkly Psychedelic Indie Rock"

--NME

“I Should Be Coming Up (But I Keep Coming Down)” is not only radio-ready – it’s a nugget of well-produced psycho-pop-hook-laden-genious, you can dance to. But don’t tell the band that, I don’t want it to go to their heads!”

--Dennis “The Menace” Scheyer, 90.3FM KUSF, San Francisco

"A joyride of dense, churning guitars that sounds like Primal Scream getting Spiritualized!"

--L.A. Times

"Brilliant! Slick Guitar Spirals and Super-Virgin-Tight Percussion!"

--L.A. Alternative Magazine

"One of L.A.'s Best New Bands"

--L.A. Weekly

"Whole lotta LOVE has gone into LOVE IS FOREVER"

--Chicago Tribune

"Sky Parade's contribution to the alternative genre is something of a feat..."

--Clarice Connors (Beyond Race Magazine)

"LOVE IS FOREVER figures to hit the spot for fans of British psychedelia, or anybody else who misses the Verve!"

--L.A. Times

"WINNING ROCK!"

--Under the Radar Magazine

"A sprawling mix of psych rock and West-Coast bravado!"

--NewNoise.net

"Glowing and true talent!"

--Mean Street Magazine

HOMEGROWN Featured Independent Artist!

--Amoeba Record Store (Hollywood)

"One of the best acts I've seen in a long time."

--Bluetones Forum
